Refund Policy

At America's Auto Appraisers, we are committed to delivering premium, precise, and professional auto appraisal services. We understand that circumstances may arise where a refund is requested. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted, in accordance with applicable Colorado law.

Cancellations and Refund Eligibility

Prior to Service Commencement

If you cancel your appraisal order in writing prior to any work commencing (including research, document preparation, or physical inspection), you are entitled to a full refund.

After Service Has Commenced

If work has begun, including but not limited to research, consultation, or inspection, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion. The refund will reflect a deduction for time invested, administrative costs, and expenses incurred, with a minimum non-refundable service fee of $100 or 25% of the appraisal fee, whichever is greater.

After Appraisal Completion

Once the appraisal report has been delivered, all fees are non-refundable. Our appraisals represent professional opinions rendered after considerable expertise, analysis, and time, and as such, are not subject to return or exchange.

Diminished Value Appraisals & Insurance Company Decisions

Our diminished value appraisals are prepared with the utmost care, precision, and adherence to industry standards to support your claim with your insurance carrier. Please note:

No Refunds Based on Insurance Company Decisions:

Once a diminished value appraisal is completed and delivered, no refunds will be issued if the insurance company, its appraisers, or adjusters choose not to approve or honor the claim. This includes denials or reduced offers due to the timing of your claim, policy limitations, liability disputes, prior damages, or other claim-related decisions beyond our control.

Our professional service is to provide an accurate and well-supported appraisal, not to guarantee any particular outcome with insurers.

Exceptions

If America's Auto Appraisers is unable to provide the appraisal service due to our error, unavoidable scheduling conflicts, or other circumstances within our control, you will receive either a full or prorated refund, depending on the extent of work completed. This does not apply to delays caused by client unavailability, inaccurate information provided by the client, or third-party restrictions.

Refund Request Procedure

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to kj@americasautoappraisers.com within 7 calendar days of the event giving rise to the request.

Refunds approved under this policy will be processed to the original form of payment within 7 business days of approval.

Refund Request Compliance

To be eligible for a refund under this policy, clients must submit their request in writing as outlined above within the specified time frame. Failure to adhere to this procedure and deadline will result in forfeiture of any right to a refund.

Colorado Consumer Rights

This policy is designed in accordance with the Colorado Consumer Protection Act (C.R.S. ยง 6-1-101 et seq.). Nothing in this policy waives or limits your rights under Colorado law.
